The idea for this deck of dice struck Carmelyn Calvert late one night. An idea so simple and obvious that she was sure it must have been done before. But then why had she never seen it? Was it possible or not for the cards to be arranged to make the winning hands for popular card games? After all, a deck of dice would be worthless if it couldn’t! She was determined to find out. She solved the puzzle in just one night of inspired ambition. To her surprise, she later found that she was the first to have ever done so. Carmelyn’s patent issued in 2011.
