Alex Thibault

Entrepreneur, executive, investor and lawyer, Alex is a dynamic strategic thinker with marked ability for tech business growth.

In the early parts of his career, he spent time working at a BigLaw firm (M&A), L'Oréal and Universal Studios Productions in Canada and California. His first success in the tech space came when he was at the helm of Edilex, a legal content publisher that he transformed into a tech company in the early 2010s and exited at a market-leading EBITDA multiple. Alex then spent time as a partner at Canada's fastest growing firm according to Profit 500.

Alex spent close to 5 years as Vulog's VP and GM for North America from 2016 to 2021. He established it as the dominant platform enabling mobility in North America, securing long term relationships and working with most mobility brands along the way. Vulog raised close to CA$ 80M during his time at the company.

He currently acts as Chief Operating Officer of GTX, a fast-growing 400-person strong tech group with Hardware-as-a-service and Platform-as-a-service offerings, where he oversees 3 of the holding's 4 operating companies.

Alex has invested in a number of private tech corporations and he holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
