Alok Agarwal, is Founder and CEO of Striver Capital advisors Pvt, ltd. He has rich experience of over 15 yrs in the field of finance and investments. A follower of Warren Buffett and believer of simple ideas and doesn't believe in too much diversification ! . He uses skills honed in stock markets in start up space too. His majority of investments in start up space has gone on to raise series A. His philosophy is promoter first and idea second . He actively mentors start up in scaling up and to develop moat around them. Academically, he is an Engineer and MBA (finance) and has also earned his CFA charter. Earlier, he has worked with I-sec (investment banking arm of ICICI Bank) and BNP Paribas before branching out on his own. Currently he sits on the board of B.lab pvt ltd. In essence, Investing is about patience and discipline, curiosity and incessant search, the hunt for value and while keeping a margin of safety. It's about long term perspective and continuous monitoring of the changing landscape. Academically, he is and Engineer and MBA (finance) and has also earned his CFA charter. Earlier, he has worked with I-sec (investment banking arm of ICICI Bank) and BNP Paribas before branching out on his own. I am member of Mumbai Angels for over 3 years . Fortunately, my angel investments have done well and raised Series A –Series D. I have invested over a $ 1 mn in start up space and pretty much part of the ecosystem.

His other interest include golfing , travelling and foundation started by him dedicated to the cause of education of underprivileged children.
