Amit Backliwal

Amit is the Co-founder & CEO of Pharmarack Technologies a healthtech startup focusing on e-distribution, supply chain efficiencies, big data analytics driven through AI and machine learning technologies.

Prior to this, Amit was the Vice-President of Technology and Services, Asia Pacific and drove IQVIA's growth through the alignment of consulting services, technology initiatives and business goals. He paved the way to help transform healthcare, providing strategic advice on Innovation, Growth agenda, Market Access and Integrated Healthcare Solutions.

Amit brings with him a wealth of experience (20 years) in consulting, sales and general management to his current role. Previously, he was the Managing Director for South Asia, where he led multiple aggressive growth initiatives and elevated the business’ importance in the region.

Amit holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Adelaide, Australia and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of South Australia. He also maintains active interest in various health startups and academia.
