Andreas Zink

Andi has spent two decades years in the high technology industry, holding various technology leadership roles. As Senior Vice President of Engineering at NewStore, his focus is on building a world class engineering organization that builds products to reinvent retail in the mobile age. NewStore, founded by Stephan Schambach, is the only mobile retail platform that promotes conversion, boosts engagement, unifies offline and online, and modernizes fulfillment. It works with Demandware and in conjunction with other existing ecommerce platforms to allow brands to deliver a mobile-first retail experience designed around how consumers want to buy today — anywhere, anytime, with single touch simplicity.

Prior to NewStore, he was CTO and VP Engineering at Black Duck Software. Before Black Duck, he worked for Trelliswerk, where he served as Managing Partner and led the development efforts for two complex software applications in the data analysis field and the algorithmic trading market.

Prior to Trelliswerk he worked at Skyva International, where in the role of Development Director he led the company’s eCommerce platform & tools development. Skyva was acquired by the ABB Group. Early in his career Andi worked at Deloitte & Touche and Comsoft GmBH as integration architect and software developer.
