Andrés Gluski is president and chief executive officer of The AES Corporation (AES), one of the world’s largest independent power producers. During his 14-year tenure at AES, Gluski has served in numerous global leadership roles.

His career prior to joining AES also provided him with a broad range of experiences in both the public and private sectors, including serving as executive vice president of Corporate and Investment Banking in Grupo Santander at Banco de Venezuela, economist in the Treasury Department of the International Monetary Fund, and serving as Director General of the Venezuelan Ministry of Finance and Senior Economic Policy Advisor.
