Andy Heinz

Andy is Senior Vice President, Sales responsible for licensing Gracenote’s full line of Video, Sports and Music data offerings and content recognition technologies.

Prior to its acquisition and integration with Gracenote in 2014, Andy was Vice President of Sales at Tribune Media Services (TMS), Tribune’s industry leading video metadata arm. There, he led the company through a period of record revenue growth, winning deals with major MVPDs around the globe.

Before being elevated to the top sales role at TMS, Andy served as General Manager, New Media Sales for the company where he played a key role in the creation of the company’s On Entertainment product line, which is widely recognized as the industry standard video data offering and is used by every major pay TV operator in the U.S.

Andy brings more than 20 years of experience working with top-tier pay TV, OTT, consumer electronics and technology customers as well as deep institutional knowledge to the company.
