Bio

Anthony handles content and marketing at Eniac. His duties can change from week to week, but they usually involve writing and editing the firm’s blog posts and newsletter, managing its social media presence, and advising portfolio companies on PR strategy.

Before joining Eniac, Anthony spent nearly a decade writing about media, advertising, and miscellaneous startups at TechCrunch, where he also hosted the infamous Startup Battlefield. During his time there, he was named one of the 59 most important tech reporters by Business Insider, an Ultimate Innovator and Disruptor by New York On Tech, and one of the 100 most influential people in Brooklyn culture by Brooklyn Magazine (a designation he’s made even more inaccurate by moving to Harlem).

Anthony grew up in Torrance, California and attended Stanford University. He began his journalism career at the Hollister Free Lance before working at VentureBeat and Adweek.

Beyond his role at Eniac, Anthony also co-hosts Original Content, a weekly podcast featuring in-depth discussions of new streaming shows and movies. A chapbook of his short stories called Love Songs for Monsters was published by the small press Youth in Decline in 2014, and his short fiction has also appeared in Lady Churchill’s Rosebud Wristlet.
