Ata Rasekhi

Ata Rasekhi is responsible for market research, definition and delivery of Funambol's mobile open source platform and products. Rasekhi brings with him 16 years of product management and product marketing experience and a proven track record of building and launching industry-leading software products.

Prior to Funambol, Rasekhi was the Director of Product Management at Scalix, a leading provider of email and collaboration software for Linux and open systems. Before Scalix, Rasekhi ran a successful consulting firm delivering product management and marketing services to various high profile startups.

Prior to consulting, Rasekhi held senior product management and product marketing positions at Remedy, Lotus Development, and cc:Mail. He holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from University of California, Santa Barbara.
