Bertie Aykroyd

Bertie joined LDC in 2009 from Barclays, where he spent three years predominately in the Financial Sponsors Group. At Barclays, he executed a variety of transactions, including leveraged buyouts, public-to-privates and restructurings.

As an Investment Director in the London office, Bertie focuses on new business opportunities predominately in consumer facing industries. His investments at LDC include Mountain Warehouse (invested in 2010), The ComplEAT Food Group (invested in 2011, achieving a successful partial exit in 2012), Ocean Outdoor (invested in 2012), Fever Tree (invested in 2013) and D&D London (invested in 2013). Bertie represents LDC as an Investor Director on the Boards of The ComplEAT Food Group, Ocean Outdoor, Fever Tree and D&D London.

Bertie graduated with honours from the University of Durham and is an AMCT qualified Corporate Treasurer.
