Tim Burke

Tim joined Castanea as a Partner in 2014. He has over 16 years of private equity experience in retail, branded consumer products and services.

Prior to joining Castanea, Tim was a Co-Founder and Partner with Glenbrook Consumer Partners, a west-coast based private equity firm. While at Glenbrook, Tim was responsible for all aspects of firm and deal team leadership including origination, structuring, and closing investments, as well as active portfolio management.

Prior to Glenbrook, Tim was a Partner at Rosewood Capital, a middle market consumer-facing private equity firm focused on investing in consumer products and services, retail, restaurants. As a senior investor Tim led multiple investments includingRent.com, Stir Crazy, 3 Day Blinds, and Alternative Apparel.

Tim received an MBA from The Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA in Sociology, cum laude, from Harvard University.
