Dr. Malkiel, also the author of The Elements of Investing, is one of the country’s leading investor advocates.Before moving to Princeton, where he was also chairman of the Economics Department, Dr. Malkiel was dean of the Yale School of Management and William S. Beinecke Professor of Management Studies from 1981 until 1988.He is a past President of the American Finance Association and the International Atlantic Economic Association.He is also a past appointee to the President’s Council of Economic Advisors.In addition, he serves on the Boards of Directors and Advisory Boards of several corporations.He is a past Board Member of Vanguard Group.
