Carlos Valdecantos

Carlos is a Partner with almost 20 years of management consulting experience in the telecoms, media and digital (TMD) industry. He has advised key industry players in the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe and CIS.

Carlos’ expertise includes strategy, business design, mergers and acquisitions, organisational change, product development and operational excellence. Presently, Carlos is focusing on advising global and regional clients on key challenges and opportunities the telecom industry has been facing in emerging and high-growth markets, in particular on driving top line growth, ensuring the adoption of the right business models to optimise the bottom line and return on investment. In addition, he is supporting tier 1 private equity firms in several telecom acquisitions in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Prior to joining Delta Partners, Carlos was Partner at mmC Group, a strategy TMT consulting boutique he founded in 2005, advising major telecom companies in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Carlos was also Senior Principal at Oliver Wyman (then DiamondCluster) working across Europe, Latin America and North Africa. He also worked at PwC in their Telecommunications Strategy practice team.

Carlos has a Master of Science in Science Physics and Electronics from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Carlos is fluent in English and Spanish.
