Craig Coblenz was one of Facebook’s first sales executives and among the company’s first 100 employees. As Director of Media Sales, Coblenz was responsible for monetizing the plaform through partnerships with Fortune 100 brands.Coblenz consulted top brands on how to best leverage Facebook and the broader social/digital space to accomplish advertising and marketing objectives.
Prior to Facebook, Coblenz was Regional Vice President of Partner Marketing at Cendant, Inc. and before Cendant he was with InterActiveCorp (IAC). Earlier in Mr. Coblenz career he joined UrbanBaby, a two person start-up in NY founded by Susan and John Maloney, where he was responsible sales and business development. UrbanBaby was eventually acquired by CNET.
Since departing Facebook Coblenz has been an active Angel Investor and Advisor to a number of start-ups including Tykoon, Stockr, Swell, ThingLink, rfactr, and Savveo. Craig’s primary area of interest and focus as an Advisor is in ad products, monetization, and sales/business development.
