Dan Piehler

Dan joined Lumia Capital in 2015 and is responsible for developing and managing Lumia’s proprietary research, benchmarking, and analytics capabilities and managing Lumia’s community of global stakeholders. Prior to Lumia, Dan was the Marketing Manager at ClearMomentum (acquired by Ipreo), a provider of portfolio monitoring and reporting software for venture capital and private equity investors. At ClearMomentum, Dan led all branding and marketing initiatives including web development, content creation, and outbound campaigns. Dan was also an analyst for Disruption Corporation, an early-stage VC based in Arlington, VA.

Dan received an MBA from the University of Rochester’s Simon Business School and a BA in Economics and English from the University of Rochester, where he was an REB Scholar and student athlete.
