Dany Kleiman

Dany Kleiman is Group Vice President – Repair and Engineering, Technology Products for AAR's Aviation Services and Technology Products segments.

Mr. Kleiman joined AAR in 2009 and is responsible for AAR’s global MRO operations which encompass five Aircraft Maintenance centers and two Landing Gear overhaul facilities, as well as AAR’s Engineering Services and Component Repair businesses. He is also responsible for AAR’s Mobility Systems; Integrated Technologies; Aerostructures and Interiors; Nordisk cargo container; and Aircraft Sales and Leasing businesses. These businesses provide high-quality aviation services and technology products for commercial airlines and government agencies and generate annual sales of approximately $1 billion for the Company.

Prior to joining AAR, Mr. Kleiman held various leadership positions with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI). He served as General Manager for Bedek Aviation Group, a provider of airframe, engine and component heavy maintenance with over 3,000 employees. He also served as COO of IAI, and was responsible for company-wide operations as well as quality, training, publications, and lean manufacturing. Prior to these positions, Mr. Kleiman served as General Manager for both the Production Division and the Business Jets Programs of IAI’s Commercial Aircraft Group.

Before joining IAI, Mr. Kleiman served as Vice President of Operations and Chief Engineer for ISRAVIATION, manufacturer of the ST-50 single engine turboprop aircraft and served with the Israeli Air-Force.

Mr. Kleiman earned a BSE in Aeronautical Engineering from Israel Institute of Technology in Technion, Haifa, Israel.
