David Berkowitz joined Ventures West in 1996 and leads the firm's Cleantech practice from the Vancouver office. David has become one of the most active and best-known cleantech investors in Canada. He speaks regularly at industry conferences and is frequently quoted in the media.
Prior to Ventures West, David worked with Motorola New Enterprises, the venture arm of Motorola, and previous to that he was a consulting engineer and entrepreneur.
He currently serves as a Director of Silicor Materials Inc. He is past winner of Business in Vancouver's Top 40 under 40 Award.
