David Booth

Mr. Booth currently sits on the Board of Directors of three companies. Mr. Booth has over 28 years experience in marketing and general management in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries all while at Pfizer Inc., from which he retired in 1998. As Vice President, Marketing of the Roerig Division of U.S. Pharmaceuticals, he was responsible for all in-line product marketing, new product development and marketing services.

From 1981 to 1993, Mr. Booth held a number of senior positions in the International Division including Country Manager, The Netherlands, Senior Vice President, Medical and Marketing in Japan and Regional Director, Australia/New Zealand. In 1990, he returned to New York Headquarters as Vice President, International Pharmaceuticals where he led the new product development function for all countries outside the U.S. with additional responsibility for market research, business development and sales training. He was also a member of the Pfizer International Board of Directors.

In 1993 Mr. Booth was assigned a pivotal role in the restructuring and subsequent divestiture of the Medical Technology Group which included all of Pfizer’s medical device businesses. He served as President and CEO of America Medical Systems (1993-1998), Schneider Americas (1994-1996) and Valleylab (1996-1997).

Mr. Booth has been a member of the Minnesota Business Partnership and is currently a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps from March, 1967 to June, 1970 achieving the rank of Captain. Mr. Booth received a B.S. (Honors) Business Administration from McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada and an MBA Marketing and Operations Research from Columbia University.
