His tenure began in 1986 as a founder of the Process Development Department. Under his 10-year leadership, this group became the preeminent process development organization in biopharmaceuticals and a key strategic advantage for the company. As Vice President of Process Development and Operations Systems, he directed the business process integration of more than 2,500 operations and quality staff worldwide.
