Don Antonucci

Don has spent the last two decades immersed in the health care industry. From his start as a market analyst, to the front lines as the VP of Sales, up through his current role as President of Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon, Don's desire is to create more affordable and accountable health care solutions for Oregonians.

As the Oregon Plan President, Don is responsible for directing and guiding the overall performance of Regence, including sales, provider contracting, government affairs, and community relations. He takes an inside-out approach to working with employers that starts with understanding their unique needs, and then creating solutions that will help drive growth and support company culture.

Since moving to Oregon and joining Regence in 2010, Don has actively served in his community with a focus on improving the lives of kids. He is a member of the board of directors for the Children's Cancer Association, Doernbecher Children's Hospital Foundation, Oregon Health Leadership Council (also co-chair), United Way of the Columbia-Willamette, Oregon Medical Insurance Pool, and is a member of the Young Presidents' Organization.

Don lives with his wife and two children in West Linn, Oregon. He earned his bachelor's degree in political science from the State University of New York College at Cortland, and his master's degree in public policy analysis and administration from Binghamton University, State University of New York.
