Doug Smith

As operating partner with Symphony Technology Group (STG), Doug worked closely with portfolio companies and most notably as Global Chief Operating Officer of Capco, a consulting and technology services firm. Prior to STG, Doug was the EVP and CFO of Mercury Interactive, driving the company to 25% annual growth. Other roles for Doug include:co-head of software practice at Hambrecht & Quist and CFO of Computervision, where he led the industry’s first $1 billion software buyout. Doug holds a Master of Arts in International Economics and Affairs.
