Dror Sharon

Mr. Dror Sharon serves as President at Consumer Physics, Inc. Mr. Sharon served as Chief Executive Officer and President of OPGAL Optronics Industries Ltd. until August 2012. Mr. Sharon served as Vice President of Business Development at ColorChip Ltd. Mr. Sharon joined ColorChip's team in early 2009 as part of Gemini's investment in it. He has been an Associate with ColorChip since 2007, guiding companies through the entire VC investment process and utilizing his previous start-up experience in assisting portfolio companies. He was an Associate at Gemini Israel Funds of which he joined in 2007. Prior to joining Gemini, Mr. Sharon served as Director of Marketing at OmniGuide, a start-up company commercializing revolutionary optical fiber technology invented at MIT. To date, the Boston-based company has raised over $75M. At OmniGuide, he was instrumental in its initial commercial ramp-up and was involved with strategic positioning, designing and implementing the go to market plan, presentations to the BOD, new product development, manufacturing, and scaling the sales and marketing operations. Prior to OmniGuide, Mr. Sharon briefly served as a consultant for McKinsey & Co. and served at the Israeli Air-Force in operations and technology strategy. Mr. Sharon holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management
