Elizabeth Schirmer

Elizabeth Schirmer currently leads Sweetwater’s global sales and services division, and is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of business development and market intelligence programs.

Her positions prior to Sweetwater consisted of over 10 years of experience in corporate communications, marketing, and sales force management.

Ms. Schirmer’s civic activities include her role as Founder and CEO of Untapped Shores International, a hydroponic farming and water sanitation non-profit organization.

She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Rochester Women’s Council, is a Compeer Youth Mentor, and a member of the Women in Cleantech and Sustainability Association and the United Way Women’s Leadership Council.

Ms. Schirmer studied economics at East China Normal University in Shanghai, received her B.S. in International Business and Marketing from Villanova University, and her M.B.A. from the University of Rochester, with a concentration in Sustainability Management Strategy with the School of Public Health extension graduate studies program at Harvard University.
