Eric T. Fitzgerald

Fitzgerald has 28 years of experience in the financial services industry and has been involved in the private equity investment community for the past eighteen years. Over his 18-year career in private equity Fitzgerald has been responsible for more than $4.5 billion in fund commitments across a broad spectrum of PE sectors including venture capital, growth equity, leveraged buyouts, power & energy, mezzanine, infrastructure and secondary funds. He joined Top Tier Capital Partners from MetLife in 2018, where he was head of MetLife's U.S. private equity strategy.

Fitzgerald held prior private equity roles with Thomas Weisel Partners as a Partner in their fund of group, and as a senior analyst for Liberty Mutual's Private Equity Markets group. Prior to his private equity career, Fitzgerald spent nine years with Fidelity Investments. While at Fidelity, he held various roles in their Capital Markets, Wealth Management, and Retail Services divisions.
