Fred Anderson

Fred Anderson is a Managing Director and Co-Founder of Elevation Partners, a private equity firm focused on the media and entertainment industry, since July 2004.

From March 1996 to June 2004, Fred served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Apple Inc., a manufacturer of personal computers and related software.

Prior to joining Apple, Fred was Corporate Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Automatic Data Processing, Inc., an electronic transaction processing firm, from August 1992 to March 1996.

Fred is a Member of the Board of Directors at Yelp since February 2011.

Fred also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Apple from June 2004 to June 2006, E.Piphany, Inc. from May 2003 to September 2005 and Palm, Inc. from September 2007 to July 2010.

Fred also serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at eBay, Inc. and Move, Inc.

Fred previously served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Crystal Decisions, 3COM and Sonos.

Fred is a Trustee of Whittier College.
