Dr. Lee is the Robert Turrel Professor of Medical Imaging, an abdominal radiologist and Senior Vice Chair of the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an expert in the field of tumor ablation.

Dr. Lee is the founder of the clinical and research tumor ablation program at UW Madison, one of the first such programs in the USA.

As an early pioneer in the field of tumor ablation, Dr. Lee has enjoyed extensive NIH and industry extramural support and has published on all aspects of thermal ablation products and techniques.

He is the lead inventor and patent holder on the commercially available FDA cleared RF Switching ControllerTM (Covidien, Boulder, CO).

Dr. Lee co-founded the International Tumor Ablation Working Group, the first worldwide forum for physicians interested in tumor ablation.
