Gale Huang

Gal Huang joined TAL in April 2015 and has served as our chief technology officer since October 2016, in charge of new product incubation and technical system management. Prior to joining TAL, Mr. Huang served as chief architect at Baidu, director at Tencent Research, as well as co-founder and software architect of PPLive (now PPTV). He is an expert in mass services, distributed computing, network communication, streaming media and security. He has also published articles in industry and academic journals. Mr. Huang received his bachelor’s degree as part of the University of Science and Technology of China’s youth class, and received his master’s degree from the same institution.
