Gary Melampy

Gary Melampy serves as Chief Human Resource Officer for Scientific Games, overseeing human resources operations that include talent acquisition, recognition and rewards, training and development, change management, and succession planning.

Mr. Melampy joined Scientific Games in 2008 as Vice President, Human Resources for the Company’s U.S.-based operating units and Corporate HR. In 2013, Mr. Melampy was a key participant in the creation of the Lottery division’s business strategy and the development of the Lottery leadership organization. He has been integral in driving the integration of Scientific Games, WMS, and Bally in HR and culture-related matters, and has established a strong team of HR professionals throughout Scientific Games, bringing together great talent from across all of our legacy companies as well as externally.

Prior to joining Scientific Games, Mr. Melampy held Human Resources positions at Unisource Worldwide, Inc.; Georgia-Pacific Corporation; and AK Steel Corporation.

Mr. Melampy holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Ohio State University and a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
