Gaurav Khanna brings more than 15 years of experience in storing and protecting valuable business data with the last few focussed exclusively on making data protection and analysis extremely usable.

Most recently, Gaurav was vice president of engineering with Symantec, leading product development for their Enterprise Data Protection products: NetBackup and Backup Appliances. Before this role he incubated and grew cloud and purpose built appliance products for backup and information management. Prior to Symantec, Gaurav had product development, architecture and implementation responsibilities at Nortel (Shasta IP Services) and Tata Consultancy Services.

Gaurav is adept at simplifying IT use cases with innovative products and technologies. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the State college of Engineering, Haryana, India and keeps up to date on the core security aspects of data protection with the CISSP certification.
