Gemma is Urban Futures Lead at the Future Cities Catapult. She leads teams of designers and technologists developing scenarios and strategies for future urban environments. She has 12 years’ experience working as an Architect and Service Designer re-imagining city spaces and systems to respond to human behaviours and needs. Recent work includes a Smart Campus Strategy for the University of Glasgow, developing European Smart Cities project and creating a customer experience vision for Dubai airport. Gemma is passionate about the invisible layers and services that make cities more human focused and resilient.
