Genki Shiota

Genki Shiota was born in Izumo, Shimane prefecture in 1983.Shiota attended Yokohama National University and majored in electrical information engineering. He went on to complete his MBA at Hitotsubashi University.

Shiota was hired by DeNA after graduation and was promoted to manager of an affiliated company. Afterwards, he worked as the director of advertisement at corporate headquarters. Upon retirement, Shiota and Kouda co-founded Akatsuki.
