George Surovtsev

George is the CEO and Co-Founder at Makini. George has graduated from Scheepvaart en Transport College in Rotterdam with a degree in Marine Engineering and spent time in oil and gas and maritime prior to founding Makini. George started as a Marine Engineer crossing oceans on oil tankers with Chevron. Later George held a number of management level positions in offshore support market across operations, technical, supply chain, and talent acquisition, before switching to data science. In last role held prior to founding, George was in charge of data science and strategic innovation projects for a large industrial operator in Dubai, which was later acquired by DP World.
