Gino Santini

Gino Santini has served on our board of directors since March 2012. Gino Santini currently serves on the board of directors of AMAG Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Allena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and is retired from a distinguished career with Eli Lilly and Company that spanned nearly three decades.

During his tenure at Lilly, Gino Santini held various leadership positions of increasing responsibility, including manager of various international regions, president of the women’s health franchise and president of U.S. operations.

Gino Santini capped his career at Lilly as a member of the company’s executive committee and as the senior vice president of corporate strategy and business development.

Gino Santini, fluent in four languages, holds an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Bologna and a master’s in business administration from the University of Rochester.

Their board believes that Gino Santini’s extensive international and domestic commercial and business development experience will bring important insight to our board as we plan Horizon’s future growth.
