Graham Steel holds a masters in mathematics from the University of Cambridge and a Ph.D. in informatics from the University of Edinburgh. From 2008-2013 he was a researcher at Inria, the French national agency for computer science research, where he was part of the Prosecco project team based in central Paris. His main research topic was formal analysis for information security. In addition to international conference and journal publications, his results were featured in Wired magazine and the New York Times. In 2013, Graham co-founded Cryptosense which develops robust industry-ready formal analysis tools for cryptographic security.
