Greg Brown’s career with Learfield spans more than 30 years, and during that time he has held various sales and leadership positions with the company. Further, he has been instrumental in building Learfield’s reputation as a trusted partner for collegiate athletic programs. With Brown at the helm, the company’s collegiate portfolio grew from representing just six partner schools to more than 50 schools, conferences, and associations in a 10-year timeframe. In 2009, Brown was promoted to his current role of President and Chief Executive Officer and adopted a strategic plan to not only expand the company’s core multimedia business but also extend the reach of Learfield into new business extensions. Brown has led the charge to make acquisitions in licensing, digital platforms, scoreboard, and display systems, and ticket sales. In 2012, SportsBusiness Journal named him the 23rd most influential executive in College Football. Today Brown leads a company of more than 1,000 employees.
