Greg overseas all investment activities at SoftBank Ventures Korea as well as the operations of SoftBank Korea. Since the establishment of SoftBank Ventures in 2000, Greg has successfully served as the control tower of in-house fund managers operating over KRW 230 billion (~$230 million) in venture funds.
While serving as the CEO of SoftBank Media from 1998 to 2000, Greg renovated the firm to become the leading IT Media provider chiefly through performing an in-depth restructuring and expanding the company’s business areas. Prior to joining SoftBank Media, he worked at SoftBank Venture Capital in Silicon Valley as a member of the firm’s venture investment team. He assisted investments of over 50 companies, including Backweb, eCommunity, eLoan, and Sharewave, as well as collecting (harvesting) activities with various IPOs and M&As.
