Gururaj Singh has over 25 years of experience in networking and security industries as an executive a blend of large companies and start-ups. Guru recently served as Vice President of Engineering for Shape Security, where he built the engineering team to deliver the industry’s first Botwall. Previously he was the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Data Center Operations for Zscaler, where he was responsible for the worldwide engineering team delivering market-leading web security solutions.Prior to Zscaler, Guru served as the Vice President and co-General Manager of the $500 million Application Delivery Business unit at Cisco Systems where he managed a global team of 500 engineers. Prior to that, he was the CEO and co-founder of Netiverse which was acquired by Cisco in 2000. In addition, Guru has led engineering operations at various successful ventures, including Berkeley Networks (acquired by Fore Systems), Centillion Networks (acquired by Bay Networks), and Adaptive Corporation (acquired by Network Equipment Technologies).Guru obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics from the Indian Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California Santa Barbara. He holds multiple patents in networking and security technologies.He is also an avid biker and runner. And recently completed his first skydive.
