Hasan Aslanoba

Hasan Aslanoba is one of the leading angel investors in Turkey and is also the founder of Aslanoba Capital, a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage technology companies pursuing disruptive ideas in areas such as marketplaces, e-commerce, mobile, and SaaS.

Hasan Aslanoba started working in 1991 as the CEO of Erikli Water, his family business in the water industry. By 2005, the company succeeded in the Turkish bottled water industry under his guidance.

In 2006, Erikli Water partnered its Turkish operations with Nestle Waters, the global leader of the bottled water industry. Hasan Aslanoba served as the joint venture’s local partner and CEO, creating one of the world’s largest water bottling plants in Bursa. As a result of the economic value that he created, Hasan Aslanoba and his company have been among Bursa’s tax leaders in recent years.

Hasan Aslanoba left his role as CEO of Erikli Water in 2012 in order to focus on the activities of angel investments in the technology sector. He introduced innovative internet-based business models such as Tazedirekt and Webnak through his company, Aslanoba Food.

Hasan Aslanoba graduated from the Istanbul University Management Program and received an MBA from San Diego National University in 1988.
