Henry Jones

Jones has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer since April 2013. Jones is responsible for Dynegy’s commercial and asset management functions for its power generation business. In addition, he leads a team that develops and executes both hedging and term contracting options for the entire fleet. Prior to joining Dynegy, Jones served as Managing Director, North American Power and Gas Sales, and Origination at Deutsche Bank and managed Deutsche Bank’s North American Power and Gas trading. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, he held senior executive positions in wholesale energy trading, marketing and asset management, in Europe and North America with EDF Trading, Renewable Fuel Supply Limited, AEP Energy Services, Duke Energy Corp., NGC Corp. and Seagull Energy. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and his MBA from Oklahoma State University. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Episcopal High School in Bellaire, Texas and as president of the Emmett Augustus Jones Foundation that supports Texas Children’s Hospital.
