Itai Mendelsohn

Itai Mendelsohn formerly served as VP R&D and product management of the CloudBand Business Unit at Alcatel-Lucent (NYSE:ALU), where he was part of the founding team. CloudBand is a market-leading platform for Network Virtualization (NFV). This business was credited as a major driver in Nokia’s decision to acquire Alcatel-Lucent. Prior to joining Alcatel-Lucent, Itai served as Senior Solution manager at SAP building the first cloud-based solutions of the company.

Itai held several development and product management roles in RAD Data Communications, a leading provider of Telecom equipment, most recently as Chief Architect of the company.

Itai holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy of science from Tel-Aviv University and B.A. in computer science from the Academic College of Tel-Aviv.
