Onuscheck Michael

Michael Onuscheck is Senior Vice President and President, Europe for Boston Scientific and a member of its Executive Committee. In this role, he is responsible for Boston Scientific’s businesses in Europe.

Prior to his current role, Onuscheck was Senior Vice President and President, Boston Scientific’s Neuromodulation Division, where he was responsible for research and development, manufacturing, marketing, sales, clinical research and customer service. Previously, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Boston Scientific’s Pain Management business. In this role, he led the commercial launch of the Precision™ Spinal Cord Stimulation System for intractable pain, and helped create the Company’s spinal cord stimulation business. Onuscheck has also led the field sales and clinical organization, marketing and communications function, field clinical engineering team, technical support team, and training and education department.

He joined the Company in 2004 with Boston Scientific’s acquisition of Advanced Bionics, where he had been serving as Vice President of Sales and Clinical Services in the Company’s Auditory business.

Prior to joining Boston Scientific, Onuscheck held a variety of management positions at Medtronic in spinal reconstructive surgery and stereotactic image guided surgery. Before that, he worked for Pfizer, where he held various sales and marketing positions.

Onuscheck earned a B.A. in Business Administration and Psychology from Washington and Jefferson College.
