Jake Hoffart

Jake joined the EA team in late 2018 and works closely with EA investee companies from start to finish, guiding them through the screening committee process, preparing for pitch evenings, securing investment and settlement. Jake has completed his Waikato University Bachelor of Management Studies degree, double majoring in finance and strategic management and previously worked for the Port of Tauranga. Jake is a keen spear fisherman, a surf lifeguard and a surfer who is equally at home in the back country but, in the office, he is the first point of contact for companies looking to secure early stage funding.
