Jake Wells

Jake Wells is the Product Manager at Flashpoint. Jake Wells served as the lead on technical production, managing the integration of our subject matter expert and engineering teams, and assists with product and business development. With nearly a decade of experience as both a producer and consumer of cyber threat intelligence in the public and private sectors, Jake Wells has unique insight into ensuring that customers receive relevant and actionable information.

From 2009 to 2015, Jake Wells served as a senior intelligence analyst for the NYPD, where he managed counterterrorism and intelligence-led criminal investigations. As the lead analyst in the Cyber Intelligence Unit, he substantially enhanced the group's threat intelligence capabilities and represented the NYPD when engaging with government agencies from around the world.

Previously, he worked as an analyst for the SITE Intelligence Group providing Deep Web intelligence to commercial and government clients. A 2015 Madison Policy Forum Military-Business Cybersecurity fellow, Jake Wells holds an MA from Columbia University, a BA from Emory University, and studied Arabic in Syria.
