James Guyette

Mr. James M. Guyette, also known as Jim, B.Sc, has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Rolls-Royce North America Inc., a subsidiary of Rolls Royce Group plc (Formerly, Rolls Royce PLC) since October 1997. Mr. Guyette oversees all Rolls-Royce companies and business units in North America throughout the US and Canada.

He joined Rolls-Royce in 1997. He serves as Treasurer of Aviation Safety Alliance. He has a long and successful career with United Airlines. He also served a number of other senior roles for 30 years with United Airlines. He served as an Executive Vice President of Marketing & Planning of United Airlines until 1994 and was responsible for its marketing, sales, fleet and route planning and scheduling. He served as an Executive Vice President of Operations at United Airlines accountable for all aspects of the airline's daily operations. He served as an Assistant to the Chairman of the Board of United Airlines. He served as an Executive Vice President of UAL Corporation from 1985 to 1995.

He has been Non-Executive Chairman at PrivatebanCorp. Inc. since May 2011. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Wings Club. He served as Chairman an Director of IAE International Aero Engines AG until 2012. He has been a Lead Independent Director at priceline.com Incorporated since January 1, 2013. He serves on the Boards of Pembroke Capital; International Aero Engines; Private Bank and Trust Company of Chicago, Illinois; the United States National Research Council Aeronautics and Space Engineering Board. He serves as Member of the Board of Governors at Aerospace Industries Association and was its Founding Member. He serves on the Board of Regents for the College. He serves on the National Board of Advisors for the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art in Indianapolis, Indiana. He served as a Director of First United Financial Services and United Airlines Employees Credit Union. Additionally, he was an integral part of the team that designed, developed and launched the Boeing 777 - for which he earned the Aviation Week & Space Technology Laurels Award. Mr. Guyette studied BS in Business Administration from Saint Mary's College, Moraga, California.
