Jan Lindelow

Jan Lindelow is an active board member of several promising enterprises, primarily in the high technology industry. Lindelow has extensive experience managing global multi-billion dollar businesses as well as smaller, entrepreneurial companies. He focuses on strategic business positioning while strengthening technology and operational capabilities.

Lindelow retired from IBM in 2002 where he had served as Chairman and CEO of Tivoli Systems Inc. since 1997. Prior to joining IBM/Tivoli, he held senior executive positions at Symbol Technologies, Asea Brown Boveri (ABB) and Unisys/Sperry Computer Systems. He joined Sperry in his native Sweden.

Lindelow has an MS in engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. He lives in Austin, Texas and serves on the board of directors of public companies Active Power, Inc. and Vignette Corporation; privately held Credant Technologies, Inc., Hire.com, Inc., HyPerformix, Inc. (Vice Chairman) and Troux Technologies, Inc. as well as the board of the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce-USA (Vice Chairman). Lindelow is also active in the Austin community and serves on a number of civic boards.
