Jane Melia is the Vice President of Strategic Business Development at QuintessenceLabs. She leads market and product strategy, and marketing communication. Prior to joining QuintessenceLabs, Jane has held leadership roles in several Silicon Valley Start-ups, including SolFocus, where she headed the Technical and Product Marketing team for 5 years, building a high performing team and driving market and competitive strategy, product marketing and technical sales. Jane’s 20 years’ experience in technology industries includes a number of roles at HP, most recently as Senior Business Consultant in the Strategic Planning and Modelling group, enabling corporate strategic decision-making regarding products, customer segmentation and supply chain. Jane holds a degree in Engineering from Imperial College, London, and Ph.D. in Fluid Mechanics from Cambridge University.
