Mr. Jesús María Zabalza Lotina has been the Chief Executive Officer of Banco Santander (Brasil) S.A. since June 3, 2013. Mr. María Zabalza Lotina has been an Executive Vice President of Latin America Branch Network (Executive Vice President of America Operations) at Banco Santander, S.A. since July 2002. He has been General Director of Santander Central Hispano S.A and is responsible for Latin America and Banco Santander Spain since July 2002. He serves as General Director of Banco Santander's Latin American Commercial Division at Banco Santander SA (Brazil). He served as an Executive Vice President at La Caixa, from 1996 to 2002 and he held various positions at La Caixa- “Caja de Ahorros y Pensiones y Pensiones de Barcelona“ where he directed from 1996 to 2002 the retail-banking sector for Madrid and related areas. He served at Caja Postal as General Director and also served as General Director of the Banco Hipotecario y Caja Postal from 1992 to 1996. Mr. María Zabalza Lotina served as First Vice Chairman and Director of Banco Santander-Chile from October 28, 2008 to August 2013. From 2002 to 2010, he served as a Director of Banco Santander Puerto Rico. From 1982 to 1992, he served several positions at Banco de Vizcaya, including Director of Commercial Banking, Director of Central Services and Director of Area. He serves as Member of Compensation and Nomination Committee for Santander BanCorp. He serves as the Chairman of Banco Santander Colombia S.A. and Banco Santander (Brasil) S.A. He serves as Chairman of the Board at Banco Corpbanca Colombia S.A. He serves as Director of Banco Santander (México), S.A., Institución de Banca Múltiple, Grupo Financiero Santander. He has been a Director of Banco Santander (Brasil) S.A. since June 2013, Santander BanCorp. since October 2002 and Banco Santander Chile since 2008. Mr. María Zabalza Lotina serves as a Director of Grupo Financiero Santander S.A.B. de C.V., e-La Caixa, S.A., Telef nica Factoring in Spain and Brazil, Adeslas S.A. and Terra. He served as a Director of Terra Networks, S.A. He serves as Vice President of the Association Espa ola de Ejecutivos de Finanzas (AEEF) (Spanish Association of Finance Executives). Mr. María Zabalza Lotina holds a Degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Bilbao.
