John Mullins

John Mullins is an associate professor for management practice, marketing, and entrepreneurship at London Business School, a business school and constituent college of the University of London.

A former entrepreneur, Mullins is the author of two best-selling books, The New Business Road Test: What Entrepreneurs and Executives Should Do Before Launching a Lean Startup and Getting to Plan B: Breaking Through to a Better Business Model, as well as dozens of case studies of real-world entrepreneurial companies and more than 40 other publications. He is also a sought-after speaker to audiences around the world on entrepreneurship, growing one’s business, and starting and financing high-potential entrepreneurial ventures.

Mullins has consulted with and provided executive education services for a variety of organizations on five continents, including the Young Presidents Organization, Endeavor, Kenya Airways, Merck-Serono, Grupo Guayacan, the European and African Venture Capital Associations, Pumpkin Ltd, the International Finance Corporation, and numerous others. He has served on the boards of fast-growing entrepreneurial companies in the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia.

Mullins earned his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and his PhD from the University of Minnesota.
