John Pigott, MD, FACS is the Founder, Chairman and Chief Science Officer of VentureMed. He is Director of Endovascular Surgery at the Jobst Vascular Institute and Director of Innovation for ProMedica Health Systems.

He has acted as investigator for 25+ industry sponsored clinical trials including peripheral interventions, aortic endografts, CTO devices as well as drug and gene therapies. With a longstanding interest in the medical device industry and venture capital, he holds patents and patents pending for medically related devices to treat peripheral artery disease and aortic pathologies.
