John Salzinger

I was born and raised in New York City and currently live in Brooklyn. I studied Communications and hold a degree in Sociology with an emphasis in race relations. I have worked in numerous industries including finance, media, tech, entertainment and consumer packaged goods. I have become proficient in numerous skill sets from leadership to sales, marketing, strategy, product development and finance. Additionally, I have founded and headed up my own businesses as well as consulted for many other SMBs. My latest project allows me to take much of what I have learned along the way and apply it to a B Corp, for purpose project I aptly named MPOWERD. I co-founded this CPG company with a focus on eradicating Energy Poverty through creating high volume production on a global scale to reduce cost of goods. This, in turn, enables us to offer reduced, affordable and sustainable price points for the markets that need clean energy most in the BoP. I truly believe we are all a part of the whole – in other words, what we do impacts everyone and everything around us. I firmly believe we have an inherent responsibility and opportunity to improve our society as well as our planet.
